GMOs and Proposition 37

Last month Region 67 East San Gabriel Valley Libertarians had Annette Aguilar and Pamm Larry speak on Genetically Modified foods and on Proposition 37 California’s Right to Know.  This propostion will require that any foods containing GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms) to carry a warning label.  The main concern brought up by the members was that the propostion 37 is creating more regulations and restrictions.  It was believed that it would be more effective to organize  an educational campaign about GMOs and let the consumers decide.
